about me

grace franzese
I grew up in Lake Forest, IL, a suburb of Chicago, where everything was orderly and comfortable. It was nice, but I was always looking for something that felt more alive. Boulder was where that journey started, I let myself expand there. I changed my major, picked up a camera, and found myself in edit rooms at 2am learning how feeling becomes sequence... how meaning forms in the cut. I learned to trust instinct.
Los Angeles made it real. It's where I learned the work... timelines, crews, collaboration, and the quiet fixes that make a story breathe. It's where I became a filmmaker who can hold both vision and logistics.
film haus is all of that together: feeling + form, intuition + structure, shaped in the cut.
My post-production work on shows like Snow White, Prey, The Hunger Games Prequel, Anaconda, and The Last of Us S2 taught me to run ADR sessions, wrangle VFX-heavy workflows, coordinate international team travel, and keep everything under control while making sure the story connects. That same focus now fuels my creative side and personal projects.
Through Developed Memories, I capture real moments with intention... Polaroids, portraits, events... bringing the storytelling eye I honed in post to every image.
Haus of Work is my playground for freelance and side projects that aren't part of post or Developed Memories. Five years ago I started with zero clue, just curiosity and a love for making stuff. Since then, I've jumped into photography shoots, commercial sets, comedy shows, and editing for friends. Every project is me exploring, discovering, and evolving as a creative.
Film Haus is where ideas become reality, chaos becomes order, and every story... on screen, in print, or in a moment... actually lands. I don't just get work done. I make projects move forward, look good doing it, and achieve results that feel effortless.
